Rotary Endodontics

Endodontics, more commonly known as a root canal, is a procedure where the nerves of the tooth are removed. This is often due to the fact that they are infected and the tooth is causing pain.  We use the latest and most efficient equipment get you out of pain.  This advancement in technology has decreased the time it takes to do a root canal and has helped decrease pain after the procedure is performed.

People are always curious what we are doing while doing a root canal.  We basically are cleaning and disinfecting the roots of the tooth.  The end result of a root canal is we want the root clean.  Rotary Endodontics is like using a power washer to clean your car while your neighbor uses his garden hose. The power washer  speeds the process up and creates less fatigue for the patient and dentist.  Using Rotary Endodontics is a way of performing the root canal utilizing a specific electrical hand piece.  Our hope is that you will never need a root canal but if you have had one in the past via the older method and soon need one via the rotary method you will see and feel the difference.
